WASHINGTON, May 12 (Global Risk Regulator) – US central bank chief Ben Bernanke said the stress tests undergone by 19 leading banks “will improve the toolkit” available to regulators to help ensure the soundness not only of individual banks, but also of the financial system more broadly.
